SUNNINGDALE PUBLIC SCHOOL
2015/2016 Volunteer Opportunities
Together, we can support and broaden our children’s development.
Sunningdale Council Communiqué
Volunteering at Sunningdale Public School is a wonderful way to share your time and talent to benefit our students. Whether you can give a little or a lot of time please consider putting your name forward. We want the best school experience for our children and we need your help!
All volunteers must have a Halton Regional Police Services (HRPS) Criminal Background Check including Vulnerable Sector Screening. These must be applied for in person at any of the HRPS’ offices. The office closest to Sunningdale is located at 95 Oak Walk Drive. The cost is $15 and you are required to provide two pieces of government issued identification (1 must be photo I.D.). Processing time is between 2 - 4 weeks. Please bring your original police check to the school office and a copy will be taken and placed on file.
To contact the Sunningdale School Council, please send us a line at email@example.com.
As a Volunteer you are expected to respect confidentiality, health and safety as well as liability practices. Duty of care remains with Board Employees. Aims and objectives as well as orientation and training, if required, will be provided.
